I'm Madisyn Simington. I've been photographing since 2019 and earned a Master's degree in Photography from Penn State University in 2024. I'm passionate about capturing memories and moments to last a lifetime (or more). I created Thursday Print Co. so I could spend my time making images for others to keep. 

My maternal grandmother, Trudy, used to always make us take photos for every occasion. She'd get her camera out & have us gather all together – in front of the yellow bush if it were spring or summer. After she passed away in 2017, I got her photo albums that were passed down to her from her grandmother. And, a year and a half later, in 2019, my mother passed away, and I got her cameras and photos... and it really started clicking to me that these photographs are some of the most important items I will ever have. They are fragments of lives of people I've never known, but that I am a part of. It's why I began photographing. These fractions of seconds that we get to keep and share forever, are so necessary to our understanding of ourselves. It's how we share our life and our story with each other. When I get to photograph for others, or print their photos out for them, I feel so happy and fulfilled knowing that I am helping them share their life story. It's an honor to photograph and to print for others. I am so thankful to everyone who chooses me, and Thursday Print Co., as their photography/print service.
